I am deeply honored to announce my collaboration with IPLAN, one of the City of Toronto’s most respected and forward-thinking programs designed to empower internationally trained professionals in the architectural and planning fields.
After more than a decade of dedicated practice in architecture—serving diverse communities, overcoming the challenges of integration, and growing through every step—I feel a profound sense of responsibility to give back. The very system that once welcomed and supported me is now where I stand, ready to mentor, support, and uplift others who are beginning their journey, just as I once did.
This invitation is more than just a recognition; it’s a full-circle moment. When I first arrived in Canada, the road ahead felt uncertain. Like many internationally trained professionals, I faced the realities of adapting to a new culture, building credibility, and navigating a new professional landscape. But through resilience, community support, and programs like IPLAN, doors began to open.
Now, having established my own practice, contributed to various commercial and public projects, and developed strong working relationships with municipalities and city officials, I recognize that true success is not just measured by personal achievement—but by the ability to create opportunities for others.

Joining IPLAN in a leadership or mentorship role allows me to support those transitioning into Canadian practice, provide guidance through regulatory processes, and share real-world experience in architectural design, permitting, and urban integration. I am especially excited to help bridge the gap between vision and execution for newcomers who are full of talent, but need direction.
To all those who believed in me, collaborated with me, and helped me along the way—thank you. This is your success, too.
And to the future architects, planners, and designers who are just beginning: know that you are not alone, and there are programs, communities, and professionals ready to walk this path with you.
Here’s to the next chapter—of giving back, building together, and shaping a more inclusive professional future.
