This change-of-use project transformed a former retail space into a fully permitted medical office facility, all while preserving the existing four residential units on the upper floors.
The lower level now accommodates multiple medical offices, carefully planned to meet regulatory and accessibility standards without disrupting the residential function of the building.
To maintain the urban character of Yonge Street, the building’s front façade was renewed, reinforcing the street’s identity as a key corridor in Aurora.
Executed under tight timelines—while the client was under order to comply with the Town—the project was delivered in just three months, balancing regulatory compliance, functional design, and cost-efficiency to best serve the client’s needs.
