Ehsan Jahani known as E.J has more than 16 years of experience academically and professionally. He is the winner of the UN-HABITAT Human Settlements award and won an international design competition in London, UK. Ehsan is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and prior to that holds a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH).
In addition to experience working in building departments at government institutions, Ehsan worked on some significant buildings in Canada. This includes crosstown development in downtown Toronto, the design of the most extensive construction of 700 residential units in three high-rise buildings in Hamilton, the digital representation of the Ryerson Art Centre at Ryerson University, and many other large and small projects across Ontario.
Ehsan volunteers as co-chair of the Becoming Architects Canada/Deveiner architecture Canada (BAC-DAC) committee, a national group that advocates the architecture profession in Canada). Additionally, Ehsan has many mentees from the York Region School Board and JVS Toronto, where he has received a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding contributions to mentoring and coaching
